vistream GmbH announced that they have signed an agreement that allows vistream to launch operations as Italy’s first independent Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (MVNE) on 3´s Italy UMTS network. vistream intends to offer its services to brands that like to enter the Italian market to become MVNOs (Mobile Virtual Network Operators), ESPs (Enhanced Service Providers) or Air Time Resellers.

RCS & RDS, Romanian quadruple-play services Operator, orders to JSC Ingenium an alternative solution to the SMS short messages expediting, thus reducing the price of the communication with the mobile telephony users in the countries where it operates nowadays.

LleidaNet ordered to JSC Ingenium the implementation of a SMS Gateway to allow the sending of short messages towards other Operators through SS7 protocols.
The SS7 interconnection infrastructure, completely developed by JSC, is characterized by easier translation of the internal protocols - SMPP- to the interconnection type used by the Mobile Networks Operators. It allows obtaining more competitive conditions from the Network Operators when making SMS massive sending and, on the other hand, directly consulting the Operators’ HLR, in order to optimize the messages sending policies: where a certain subscriber is, if the mobile phone is in use or not, and when it becomes connected. JSC Ingenium has closed a contract in December to deliver the full core network for a new Full MVNO in Spain. JSC Ingenium was chosen for "their high technical skills, demostrated experience in the MVNO space and their easy-to-do-business-with approach, which will allow us to focus on our business targets" as expressed by the CEO of the MVNO.

With this new contract JSC Ingenium turns into the second Core Network provider for full MVNOs in Spain after Ericsson.

Pepephone launches missed call alert service using JSC Ingenium technology

Pepephone, a Spanish light MVNO, has just launched Missed Call Alert Service.

This service, though widely appreciated by the subscribers, was not available to MVNO subscribers due to technical limitations in the host network.

JSC Ingenium technology has opened the possibility to enjoy the service to Pepephone subscribers.

The integration has been carried out in an outstanding short time without any impact on the existing systems, as Pepehone board has declared.

It is a pleasure for JSC Ingenium to announce that Spanish MVNO R, has designated us as supplier for Inforoaming service.

JSC Ingenium will integrate the service in the existing core network of R, deploying a service node that will work as signaling probe, analyzing the information exchange between visited networks and R local HLR.

Inforoaming service, also known as courtesy SMS, is a service that allows the mobile suscribers to get tariff information when they arrive in a new country.

This service has become a must for mobile operators (MVNOs & MNOs) since EC directive has recently entered into force, as part of the regulatory landscape the EC is building in the mobile sector.
