Under the title “Mobile Virtual Network Operators, a business opportunity”, Antonio will review the various models of present MVNOs as well as their entry strategies and key success factors to compete and add value in a mature market with high penetration.

JSC Ingenium, the second Core network provider for Full MVNOS in Spain
JSC Ingenium has closed a contract in December to deliver the full core network for a new Full MVNO in Spain. JSC Ingenium was chosen for "their high technical skills, demostrated experience in the MVNO space and their easy-to-do-business-with approach, which will allow us to focus on our business targets" as expressed by the CEO of the MVNO.
With this new contract JSC Ingenium turns into the second Core Network provider for full MVNOs in Spain after Ericsson.
All the Core Network elements to unfold by JSC are based on own technology developed in house, which includes HLR, SMSC, USSD GW, IN and Prepay. For this new Operator JSC will deploy technology based on mixed SS7 and IP architectures, allowing in a effective way, the introduction of convergent technology in the MVNOs sector .

Pepephone launches missed call alert service using JSC Ingenium technology
Pepephone, a Spanish light MVNO, has just launched Missed Call Alert Service.
This service, though widely appreciated by the subscribers, was not available to MVNO subscribers due to technical limitations in the host network.
JSC Ingenium technology has opened the possibility to enjoy the service to Pepephone subscribers.
The integration has been carried out in an outstanding short time without any impact on the existing systems, as Pepehone board has declared.

After a complex corporate process, targeting a financially and technically more efficient organization, Grupo Ingenium Tecnologia has been created.
Grupo Ingenium will gather all the investments of JSC Ingenium, which becomes solely owned by the holding company itself as part of the new corporate structure, and include, among other, the following: ALAI Telecom, Ingenium Transactional Services and Proyecto Cercanía.
This is the first step in the expansion path defined in JSC Ingenium business plan, which also covers international deployments, following short, that will also be announced in this blog.
The first of these deployments has also been carried out, establishing a new commercial office in Mexico DF. From this blog, we welcome Antonio Mendoza, our Regional Manager.

JSC Ingenium designated by R as Inforoaming service supplier
It is a pleasure for JSC Ingenium to announce that Spanish MVNO R, has designated us as supplier for Inforoaming service.
JSC Ingenium will integrate the service in the existing core network of R, deploying a service node that will work as signaling probe, analyzing the information exchange between visited networks and R local HLR.
Inforoaming service, also known as courtesy SMS, is a service that allows the mobile suscribers to get tariff information when they arrive in a new country.
This service has become a must for mobile operators (MVNOs & MNOs) since EC directive has recently entered into force, as part of the regulatory landscape the EC is building in the mobile sector.
