BT España places its trust in JSC Ingenium technology to migrate its mobile service

BT España has reached an agreement with Ingenium Outsourcing Services to migrate its mobile telephony service to the new IOS infrastructure on the Orange network, to be able to offer its customers 4G.

The British operator, which has been operating as an MVNO in Spain since 2008, has chosen infrastructure by IOS, a subsidiary of the Ingenium Technology Group, which operates using JSC Ingenium’s MVNA technology, to operate on its mobile services platform. This change also involves changing the radio network, from the current Vodafone network to Orange Spain.

Being able to offer a 4G service was the main reason behind this change. IOS has a complete 3G/4G infrastructure - CORE + BSS - which is robust and proven, which will enable BT España to offer its corporate customer base a 4G service from the beginning, and have the most comprehensive range of telco services for business on the market.

The MVNA technology from IOS will also enable BT España to have a higher level of flexibility when developing new, more innovative and attractive services, while facilitating their integration with other IT services, as well as a higher level of customization, which will allow BT to give more value to its customers' business.

BT España
BT España is an innovative global partner that provides communications services and information technologies for companies and public institutions. MASMOVIL entrusts JSC Ingenium with the integration of Xtra Telecom in its charging system.

MASMOVIL integrates Xtra Telecom in its charging system in order to gradually unify systems and optimise the charging of any services towards subscribers within the
MASMOVIL Group brands

Xtra Telecom will change its current charging system for JSC Ingenium's charging system OCS (Online Charging System), deployed and operational for MASMOVIL since January 2014.

The new charging system will be integrated directly into the Xtra Telecom BSS system, using the OCS provision interface. The new system will allow real-time charging of all services that Xtra offers to subscribers in 3G and also now 4G, thanks to the integration which JSC has carried out in parallel with Orange's LTE systems in Spain.

The main advantages of JSC Ingenium's new OCS charging mechanism are first, it’s high level of flexibility, so that it can quickly define price plans and promotional campaigns within hours, and second, the improvement in quality management in communications services.

JSC Ingenium has also deployed the new release of its OFCS offline charging system for MASMOVIL, which enables the possibility to charge the Xtra Telecom fixed telephony services, unifying the charging operation of its range of convergent services.

Xtra Telecom
A telecommunications operator specialising in services for companies and freelancers: Fixed telephony, VoIP, IP switchboards, IP telephony, contact centers, virtual switchboards and call center. In July 2014, MASMOVIL bought Xtra Telecom from the British group The Phone House to add its portfolio of services to the MASMOVIL convergent range.

JSC Ingenium successfully launches its Ingenium Academy master's training programme

JSC is committed to employee training and launches its own internal training programme.

Ingenium Academy is a training plan designed entirely in house by and for the employees of JSC. The main goals of the programme are: to share knowledge, both technically and on a business level, about the Telco sector in general and the company's own projects in particular, which have been outstanding in terms of their complexity and level of innovation, and to lay the foundations so that the company's employees can acquire a higher level of expertise regardless of their profile and the position they hold.

During the presentation of the programme a few weeks ago, Sergio Cano, CEO of JSC Ingenium, said: "Our commitment to internal training is one of the most distinctive features of our corporate identity. We are convinced that our team is our biggest asset and that the success of our company depends to a large extent on having the best people, and being able to hold on to them, adding value and providing them with all the necessary tools to enable them to continue to grow professionally".

The ultimate goal behind the programme, according to Sergio, is to "seek professional excellence, for which we need to build a team with outstanding human and professional qualities that will enable us on the one hand to be competitive and continue to lead the way in the sector due to innovation, and on the other, to be able to offer our clients professional and meticulous care, and meet the highest standards in that respect."

The programme is expected to last a little over a year and a half. It is divided into theoretical and practical sessions lasting about one hour, which are recorded on video and posted on the JSC e-learning platform so that they can subsequently be consulted by any employee, at any time and from anywhere. The practical sessions have been designed primarily for employees who because of the nature of their work come into direct contact with clients, in order for them to acquire the assurance and skill needed to identify and resolve any incidents that may arise as quickly and as effectively as possible.

Ingenium Academy is designed to be a dynamic framework that will grow to meet emerging topics: new technologies, new tools (for operation and maintenance), new R & D projects, changes and new demands in the sector, new regulations, etc. in order to always provide the most comprehensive and up-to-date training on both the company and its various business lines, and on the industry as a whole.

JSC Ingenium reaches agreement on the deployment of its CSFB Advanced technology with WIMAX Online

JSC Ingenium has reached an agreement with WIMAX Online for the deployment of its CSFB Advanced technology, for integration as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator with its own 4G access.

WIMAX Online is a telecommunications operator licensed by the Spanish Telecommunications Market Commission. It has its own 4G radio network, through which it provides broadband Internet services at a regional level in Eastern Spain using LTE technology, reaching rural areas that have very limited or no Internet coverage.

JSC Ingenium, using the MVNA infrastructure and technology of IOS - Ingenium Outsourcing Services- a subsidiary company of the Ingenium Group, which operates in Spain as a MVNA Platform, provides everything needed to operate as a full MVNO.

The aim is to integrate the two technologies so that WIMAX Online can provide mobile access to 4G through its radio infrastructure, and to use IOS Spain MVNA infrastructure to provide traditional services. To that end, JSC Ingenium has deployed an LTE laboratory based on the infrastructure that WIMAX is currently using (antennas, eNodeB, etc.) and JSC Ingenium's technology (MME, HSS and PDN GW) to create a complete LTE Core for testing its CSFB Advanced technology.

This solution also provides an additional advantage as it means that WIMAX Online does not have to integrate with the Host Operator.

As a result, and for the first time in Spain, a new type of service is being rolled out, which companies with an allocated radio spectrum can use to provide their customers with a better service, without recurring access costs, while being able to provide the full range of communications services that today's subscribers require.

JSC Ingenium's CSFB Advanced technology is the result of the "MAP IWF Advanced CSFB/SRVCC.  New procedures for managing calls and messages on 4G and 3G networks”. R+D project carried out by the company, funded by the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) and the European Regional Development Fund as part of the Operational Programme of the Autonomous Region of Madrid 2007-2013.

The MASMOVIL Group entrusts JSC Ingenium with the integration of its Telco systems - Core and BSS-

• MASMOVIL will have a Full MVNO platform

• The Group's operational flexibility and ability to provide services will increase

After the creation of the MASMOVIL Group in 2014, it launched the operational integration of its Core and BSS Telco infrastructures, in order to exploit the synergies between the two areas, optimize resources, gain operational flexibility and prepare for the imminent inception of 4G, and above all and most importantly, to enhance its commercial range.

The group has been operating as an MVNO Service Provider since 2008, using its MASMOVIL brand on the Orange network with JSC's OCS -Online Charging System-. Since 2012, it has also had a Full MVNO platform in JSC Ingenium's CORE R3 technology which was developed for another operator in the group, Ibercom, and which provides services for telecommunications companies.

JSC Ingenium will be responsible for carrying out the staggered integration process. First, the current infrastructure will be completed to ensure that a dedicated and scalable platform is ready. The next step planned is MASMOVIL's integration into the Full MVNO platform, which will take place at the same time as the integration of the various BSS systems.

This comprehensive integration will enable MASMOVIL to operate as a Full MVNO, increase its operational flexibility and independence during its operations, and design new, innovative and attractive services and bring them to market.

In addition it will allow MASMOVIL to optimize both the existing resources such as investment in infrastructure and CORE BSS.

This process will also include the incorporation of 4G into the Full MVNO. As a result, the MASMOVIL Group is enhancing its commercial range and will begin to offer its subscribers combined 3G/4G services for both residential and business clients.

MASMOVIL GROUP
The leading independent operator in Spain and the 4th largest Spanish telecom operator with a comprehensive range of voice and data for private clients, companies and operators. It has been operating as an MVNO since 2008, focusing on savings and good quality service.

Farewell 2014, welcome 2015

A new year is always a moment to recapitulate what has been happening in your company, and how your plans 12 months ago have (or maybe have not) become true.

Looking at my team today, I can only say WELL DONE GUYS!!!

Well done because the turnover of the company has grown above 50% for the second consecutive year.

Well done because we’ve been able to build three new full MVNO platforms (including a geo-redundant big-sized dual-host platform for more than one million subs, with LTE as the final topping)

Well done because so many MVNOs have chosen Ingenium as the strategic partner to launch their business in 2014, reaching above 50.

Well done because we’ve been able to build and operate several MVNE platforms around the world, with – literally – thousands of price plans, bundles, campaigns...

Well done because we’ve been able to make our technology evolve continuously with new elements and features.

Well done, specially, because we’ve been able to make our customers grow and innovate.

It’s been a really good job. I feel really proud of being part of Ingenium.

An exciting 2015 just started, and we are here to perform even better!

Sergio Cano

Fullmóvil, the most regarded Mobile Operator by the users in Costa Rica.

The survey carried out by SUTEL, Costa Rica’s Telecommunications Regulator, recognizes Fullmóvil as the most valuable Mobile Operator for the users.

Every year, SUTEL carries out a survey to review the Mobile Operators users’ experience. In the 5000 telephone surveys, 1000 users of each Operator, the respondents were asked about:

·         Personal attention
·         Customer Care by phone
·         Service delivery
·         Failure repair
·         Service Operation

Fullmóvil has been the winner in the 2014 final survey results, ahead of all the mobile operators in Costa Rica: Telefónica-Movistar, ICE-Kobi, Claro and Tuyo Móvil (MVNO).

Fullmóvil

JSC Ingenium deploys its Multi-country SMSC for RCS and RDS

RCS & RDS, Romanian network operator, awards its multi-country SMSC network node deployment to JSC Ingenium.

RCS & RDS target is to renew its current messaging technology with a new solution that makes it possible for them to deploy new equipment in a centralized manner, in Romania, and to deliver services, with no additional distributed deployments, to its subsidiaries in Spain and Italy -where there is currently a Full MVNO structure-.

JSC Ingenium multi-country SMSC technology will allow RCS & RDS to offer the messaging service in a centralized manner to all of its subscribers, regardless of the brand and network they are using -Spain and Italy-, taking advantage of an improved short message traffic management and control system, as well as important cost savings (devices to deploy, O&M…)

It also has additional unique functionalities, designed to provide an unprecedented user experience, including the Multi-country MSISDN / IMSI translation, bringing advantages for the operator and the customer. For the operator, because it allows the optimization of the SMS management delivering the message to the IMSI corresponding to the country where the subscriber is registered. For the end customer, because it brings a significant cost saving, as an international messaging service can be used at the cost of a local service.

Other meaningful functionality is Home Routing. The Operator can control centrally the delivery of all the messages. Optimal routing can be computed at any time using a fully customizable retries system.

Both companies have been working together since 2009, when JSC Ingenium, consulted DIGI mobil in the implementation of the DUAL IMSI - DUAL MSISDN service in Spain, whereby the subscribers have a Romanian and a Spanish number in a single SIM and can call other subscribers at the cost of a local call, no matter where they are.

RCS & RDS S.A.
-Romania Cable Systems & Romania Data Systems-

RCS & RDS is one of the main telecommunication groups in Europe. It has over 20 years’ experience, over 10,000,000 RGU´s, and is present in five countries (Romania, Hungary, Spain, Italy and Czech Republic). It offers digital and cable TV, Internet and mobile and wire line telephony (prepaid and postpaid).
RCS & RDS operates in Spain under the DIGI Mobil brand, offering mobile telephony services (Full MVNO) using Movistar network.

Ingenium Outsourcing Services nominated for Best MVNA

IOS has been short listed for the Best MVNA category in the MVNO Industry Awards 2014. The awards will be granted on Wednesday, April 9th, in Berlin, as part of the MVNO World Congress, organized by Informa Telecoms & Media.  IOS is a reference with great growth potential, due to its commitment to flexibility –both in the infrastructure and business areas-, its comprehensive mobile service offer and the deployment of over ten brands in less than a year. This is reinforced by the immediate launch of three new brands in Q2.

Among the brands that are operated in IOS platform we can name some such as Ibercom, Aire Networks, PTV Telecom or Alai Secure. This last brand is operating itself another twenty brands, offering M2M services in security, vending, e-health, elevators and energy efficiency sectors.

IOS is a subsidiary of Grupo Ingenium and operates in Spain since 2012 as a service platform for Mobile Virtual Operators, using JSC Ingenium MVNA technology, over the Orange network.

JSC Ingenium will be present in the MVNO World Congress 2014 in Berlin

JSC Ingenium will participate in the MVNO World Congress 2014, this time in Berlin, to both share its latest news and take the pulse of the sector internationally. After an intense 2013, highly marked by the commercial implementation of its LTE Network Infrastructure –for the very first time in Spain-, and the launch of the M2M Platform, JSC Ingenium starts the year with new deployments in countries such as Switzerland, Russia, South Korea and Italy, and the signature of two important contracts (confidential) in Spain. This makes JSC Ingenium the biggest MVNO network infrastructure provider in Spain.

Taking advantage of MVNO World Congress 2014, JSC will share the experience in the deployment of IOS -Ingenium Outsourcing Services-, a Grupo Ingenium subsidiary, that operates in Spain as a complete MVNE platform -OSS+BSS- on the Orange network. It is ready to operate in 4G at the time the Host enables it. During 2013, 11 mobile telephony brands were put in service, a record in such a short time, and even more if we consider that each brand has its own business model and casuistry, with different price plans, rating packs, promotions, etc.

We are glad to invite you to know, first hand, our service portfolio for Mobile Virtual Network Operators, from 8 to 10 April 2014, in Stand No. 20, Maritim Proarte Hotel, Berlin, Germany.
